Fuel Surcharge
The OnTrac Fuel Surcharge is index-based and adjusted weekly. The Fuel Surcharge is assessed on the net package Rate plus all additional fees and Surcharges, as applicable.
The Fuel Surcharge will be based on the National U.S. Average On-Highway Diesel Fuel Price as most recently released by the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA), that is one (1) week prior to the adjustment, rounded to the nearest cent. Changes to Fuel Surcharges will be effective on the following Monday of an applicable calendar week. Fuel Surcharge percentages and thresholds are subject to change without prior notice. For example, the Fuel Surcharge for the week of February 10, 2025, will be based on the National U.S. Average On-Highway Diesel Fuel Price released by EIA the week of February 3, 2025. If the information released by the EIA is delayed, OnTrac may use applicable fuel pricing information from an earlier calendar week.
If the Fuel Surcharge falls outside the published range, the upper range in the table will extend in $0.12 increments and the lower range will extend in $0.18 increments. Fuel Surcharge will adjust in 0.25% increments.

Over Max LimitsPackages with a billable weight of more than 150 pounds, or that exceed 108 inches in length, or exceed a total of 165 inches in length (longest side of the package) plus girth [(2 x width) + (2 x height)] combined are not accepted for carriage. These packages are Over Max Limits; however, if found in our system during transit, we will assess an Over Max Limits package surcharge. We reserve the right to refuse Over Max Limits packages, or upon discovery during transit to make appropriate adjustments to shipping charges. Neither an Additional Handling Charge nor a Large Package Surcharge will be assessed when an Over Max Limits Surcharge is applied. |

*Unless otherwise agreed to in writing by OnTrac, if a Shipper's written agreement with OnTrac indicates that it will apply a Residential Signature Surcharge; Large Package Surcharge; Unauthorized Surcharge; and/or a Surcharge for On-Call Pickup Services ("Supplemental Surcharges") then the Supplemental Surcharges shall continue to apply to the Shipper's packages, as applicable. Additionally, and unless otherwise agreed to in writing by OnTrac, if Shipper has been invoiced for Supplemental Surcharges at any time prior to March 25, 2023, then the Supplemental Surcharges shall continue to apply to the Shipper's packages, as applicable. |

2024 Demand Surcharge
Due to the elevated volumes, high demand for capacity, and increased operating costs that occur during the upcoming holidays, OnTrac must implement temporary Demand Surcharges to ensure service levels remain high.
- A Demand Residential Surcharge of $0.75 will be applied to all residential packages shipped on or after October 26, 2024, through and including January 18, 2025 (the “2024 Demand Period”). **
- No baseline periods or volume thresholds will apply. Volume calculations will be applied evenly across all weights, DIMs and zones.
- A supplemental Additional Handling Demand Surcharge of $7.75 per package will apply from September 29, 2024 to January 18, 2025. This is in addition to the current Additional Handling Surcharge and applicable only to packages meeting OnTrac criteria for Additional Handling.
- A supplemental Large Package/Oversize Demand Surcharge of $84.50 per package will apply from September 29, 2024 to January 18, 2025. This is in addition to the current Large Package/Oversize Surcharge and is applicable only to packages meeting OnTrac criteria for Large Package/Oversize.
** The Demand Residential Surcharge will be assessed in addition to the Shipper’s Residential Delivery Fee Surcharge, and/or any other applicable Surcharges and Accessorial Fees. Any contracted discount(s) which Shipper may have on the Residential Delivery Fee Surcharge will not apply to the Demand Residential Surcharge during the 2024 Demand Period.
